Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings

Though not written for piano, Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings is an amazing work. It's one of my favourite orchestral pieces, though this is the first time I've heard it arranged for cello choir.

I always find that this piece is best listened to with my eyes closed while sitting on the floor. There's something about being quiet on the ground that gives you the freedom to breathe with the music. This is a fairly long, slow piece, so press play and settle in for a relaxing 7 minutes...
